If I got married in September 2005, do me & the wife file joint for 2005 taxes, or should we file separately?

Alot of credits don’t count if you file separately. So your best bet is to file together.
Do it both ways…jointly and married filing separately and see where you come out better. You can file either way. But you actually FILE one way or the other, whichever is best for you. It’s worth the time to do the math twice.
