Theres plenty of time for fanfares. Just cuz youre marching 4 shows a season doesn’t mean you don’t have spare time. HP as part of thier band gotta lot of field shows to do. And they found time to do this.

Yea im a senior over here at Friendly High school and im startin to get into writin music, this fanfare is my number fav also spook, I cant find any scary or powerful fanfares for the mellophone(the instrument I play) but yea VSU rocks
Report this comment
It is hard to find decent mellophone fanfares since the mellowphone is not really a fanfare type of instrument. Your best bet is to find slow pieces that you can blend and harmonize with. Maybe some gospel tunes.

You will have to figure it out by ear. We don’t have sheet music for our fanfares. Everything is memorized and taught.
