i was recently married, and my husband owes back child support. how do i file to get MY refund?
his tax return is sent to the state of maine…how do i protect MY return so i get it back since i am innocent. is this possible? how do i have to file in the state of Connecticut?.

File separate from him. Do Not File a Joint return.

There is nothinbg better than getting it straight from the source.
You should contact the tax department directly to be certain. After all it is important to you and it is your money.
