The address above was the one that Turbotax instructed me to send it to, but I sent it to the other location of IRS by mistake. It has been 9 weeks since it was sent, and no mail or repond from IRS. Do you think they have redirected the mail to the correct location and have been processing it now?
Fresno is the correct location to send correspondence to for the IRS. Just remember, not only do they have a rush on tax return deadline, they also have the stimulus checks to get out. You can always go to their website and see if there is anything posted for you return.

They should have directed it in the right direction…but it certainly would slow down the process. You already filed it during their busiest time as it was (not that there is anything wrong with that).
The IRS says that it “often takes 2 to 3 months to process Form 1040X.” So you’ll be on the high side of that, or a little longer.

It takes 12 weeks to process Form 1040X.
And if the Form was not sent to the correct service center, they do route it to the correct one.

Speaking from experience, mail sent to the wrong address at the IRS can delay processing significantly. I suggest calling them at 1-800-829-1040 and ask if it has been received yet.
